Nice article. Strangely I have also compared them to the Knicks for similar reasons. Big Market, some type of star that draws attention and makes fans think there is a chance. Always on the playoff cusp and always fail to deliver anything meaningful. |

The Habs had competent people picking and developing their players back then.
Our minor league system has produced very few top 6 players in the last few years and we've been looking for a #1 center forever ... this is not normal.
We're either not picking the right players or we're not developing them properly ... time to clean house down in our minor league system. |
